North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance will be on the cover of the College Football America 2020 Yearbook, out later this summer. The College Football America Yearbook staff captured this year’s cover photo during the Bison’s visit to Newark, Del., to face the Delaware Blue Hens last fall.

Lance led the Bison to the national championship as a redshirt freshman. That title was North Dakota State’s eighth FCS title since 2011. Lance enters this season as one of the nation’s top returning FCS quarterbacks and the defending Walter Payton Award, given to the best offensive player in the country. He also won the Jerry Rice Award last season, given to the nation’s top freshman in FCS.
“Our College Football America Yearbook Staff is working hard to complete our 2020 Yearbook this summer,” editor-in-chief Matthew Postins said. “Our cover choice this year was easy. Lance is one of the best quarterbacks in FCS, returns to defend North Dakota State’s national title and could be a first-round pick in next year’s NFL Draft, should he decide to leave school early.”
The College Football America 2020 Yearbook features more than 900 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFA staff.
The print edition will be available online later this summer via Amazon.com and other major retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million.

Congrats Trey Lance. NDSU could have 2 QB’s in Top 5 picks in 5 years. Amazing.
Its a Shame that a FBS conference hasn’t invited NDSU yet, they are afraid they’d be Top Dog Day 1
