Morningside, the two-time defending NAIA national champion, is No. 1 in the College Football America Yearbook 2020 NAIA preseason Top 30.
The Mustangs will be led by quarterback Joe Dolincheck and running back AP Ponder, both of who are part of the CFA Yearbook’s NAIA Starting Lineup (the book’s version of a preseason All-America team).
Grand View, which reached the national semifinals last year, is No. 2. Defensive back Dallis Flowers and placekicker Nathan Hamilton are on the CFA Yearbook preseason Starting Lineup.
Lindsey Wilson is No. 3, Marian is No. 4 and Cumberlands (KY) is No. 5. Marian lost to Morningside in last year’s national championship game.
Rounding out the Top 10 are No. 6 Northwestern (IA), No. 5 Saint Xavier, No. 8 College of Idaho, No. 9 Keiser and No. 10 Baker.
The NAIA section of the College Football America 2020 Yearbook features 16 pages of content including:
- National NAIA preview;
- NAIA preseason Starting Lineup;
- Update on each NAIA conference;
- Capsules for every NAIA team, including 2019 results and 2020 schedules;
- Six color action, coach and stadium photos.
