Defending champs Miss. Gulf Coast, Riverside lead College Football America Yearbook’s 2020 Juco Preseason Starting Lineup

Two players each from last year’s national champions — Mississippi Gulf Coast (NJCAA) and Riverside (CCCAA) have been named to the 2020 College Football America Yearbook Junior College Preseason Starting Lineup, CFA’s version of a preseason All-America team.

The team is comprised of players from the National Junior College Athletic Association and from the California Community College Athletic Association, the two major sponsors of junior college football.

Defending CCCAA champion Riverside placed four players on the team — quarterback Jacob Barlage, running back Thomas Kinslow, linebacker Zach Burrola and defensive back Rey Estes.

Defending NJCAA champion Mississippi Gulf Coast placed two defensive players on the team — linebacker Diwun Black and defensive back Jadarrius Perkins.

Other teams that placed two or more players on the team included:

  • Hutchinson: RB Tiyon Evans, LB Gereme Spraggins.
  • Iowa Central: OL Richard Rodriguez, DL Alex Lemon.
  • Lackawanna: WR Shaquon Anderson-Butts, DB De’Jahn Warren, RS Delvin Palmer.

The junior college section of the College Football America 2020 Yearbook features 21 pages of content including:

It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFA staff.
