Today we celebrate this day in College Football America Yearbook history by looking back on the games we’ve covered on this date, Nov. 11. The staff at the College Football America Yearbook has been attending and coverings games since 2010, even before we actually had a physical yearbook to sell. Our staff travels the country to cover anywhere from 50 to 70 college football games per season. So, we’ve accumulated many games, many photos and many memories. Each day, we’ll encapsulate those memories here and include links to our photos and game coverage that will help you take a look back, too.

So what did we do on this day in College Football America Yearbook history?
2017: TCU (FBS) at Oklahoma (FBS)
Our College Football America Yearbook editor Matthew Postins made the drive to Norman, Oklahoma, to check out the Oklahoma Sooners hosting the TCU Horned Frogs at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The Sooners won the game, led by the play of quarterback Baker Mayfield on offense. The Sooners would go on to win the Big 12 and reach the College Football Playoff in Lincoln Riley’s first year as head coach.
2017: Kansas (FBS) at Texas (FBS)
Our College Football America Yearbook director of editorial content Chuck Cox shot his first game at the home of the Texas Longhorns, as the Horns hosted the Kansas Jayhawks in Big 12 action. Texas, naturally, won, but that wasn’t really the point for Cox, who grew up a Longhorns fan and had only been on the sidelines of the stadium while covering high school track and field meets in the 1990s.
2017: Kentucky Christian (NAIA) at Cumberland (TN) (NAIA)
Our College Football America Yearbook publisher Kendall Webb wapped up the NAIA regular season in Cumberland, Tennessee, as the Cumberland (TN) Phoenix hosted the Kentucky Christian Knights at Nokes-Lasater Field. Cumberland took the Senior Day victory, 62-23.
