Today we celebrate this day in College Football America Yearbook history by looking back on the games we’ve covered on this date, Nov. 15. The staff at the College Football America Yearbook has been attending and coverings games since 2010, even before we actually had a physical yearbook to sell. Our staff travels the country to cover anywhere from 50 to 70 college football games per season. So, we’ve accumulated many games, many photos and many memories. Each day, we’ll encapsulate those memories here and include links to our photos and game coverage that will help you take a look back, too.

So what did we do on this day in College Football America Yearbook history?
2014: Abilene Christian (FCS) at Stephen F. Austin (FCS)
Our College Football America Yearbook editor Matthew Postins was back home in Nacogdoches to see his alma mater, SFA, battle Abilene Christian in a Southland Conference contest at Homer Bryce Stadium. That’s a lot of purple. ACU, back in the conference for the first time in 40 years, held off the Lumberjacks, 37-35. The teams combined for 1,070 yards of total offense. Running back De’Andre Brown rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to the victory.
2014: Alderson Broaddus (D2) at Cumberland (TN) (NAIA)
Our College Football America Yearbook publisher Kendall Webb stayed close to home in Tennessee with a trip to Lebanon to see the Battlers take on the host Eagles. Brandon Jones rushed for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Alderson Broaddus to a 51-28 win to close out the regular season at Nokes-Lasater Field. The Battlers finished with a 7-4 record, while the Eagles went 6-5.
