Today we celebrate this day in College Football America Yearbook history by looking back on the games we’ve covered on this date, Nov. 29. The staff at the College Football America Yearbook has been attending and coverings games since 2010, even before we actually had a physical yearbook to sell. Our staff travels the country to cover anywhere from 50 to 70 college football games per season. So, we’ve accumulated many games, many photos and many memories. Each day, we’ll encapsulate those memories here and include links to our photos and game coverage that will help you take a look back, too.

So what did we do on this day in College Football America Yearbook history?
2014: West Chester (D2) at Concord (D2)
Our College Football America Yearbook publisher Kendall Webb was in Athens, West Virginia, to catch a Division II playoff game between the West Chester Golden Rams and the Concord Mountain Lions at Callaghan Stadium. That contest, a second-round playoff game, saw the Mountain Lions defeat the Golden Rams, 51-36. Concord went on to win its next playoff game the following Saturday against Bloomsburg, before losing in the national semifinals to Minnesota State.
2014: Wake Forest (FBS) at Duke (FBS)
Our College Football America Yearbook publisher Kendall Webb pulled two games in one day on this Saturday as he went from the early game in Athens, West Virginia, to a late ACC game in Durham, North Carolina, as the Duke Blue Devils hosted the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in a game that ended the league slate for both teams.
2014: Minnesota-Duluth (D2) at Ouachita Baptist (D2)
Our College Football America Yearbook director of editorial content Chuck Cox took in some more Division II playoff action, making the drive to Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to see the home team, the Ouachita Baptist Tigers, host the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs in a second-round Division II playoff contest. Minnesota-Duluth ended up winning the game, 48-45, before falling the next weekend to in-state rival Minnesota State.
2014: Linfield (D3) at Mary Hardin-Baylor (D3)
Our College Football America Yearbook editor Matthew Postins made the drive to Belton, Texas, to check out a Division III playoff matchup between a pair of national powers — the Linfield Wildcats and the Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders. The second-round playoff contest saw the Wildcats knock off the Crusaders, 31-28. From there the Wildcats defeated Widener the next weekend before losing in the national semifinals to Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Warhawks ended up winning the national title that year.
