Today we celebrate this day in College Football America Yearbook history by looking back on the games we’ve covered on this date, Dec. 6. The staff at the College Football America Yearbook has been attending and coverings games since 2010, even before we actually had a physical yearbook to sell. Our staff travels the country to cover anywhere from 50 to 70 college football games per season. So, we’ve accumulated many games, many photos and many memories. Each day, we’ll encapsulate those memories here and include links to our photos and game coverage that will help you take a look back, too.

So what did we do on this day in College Football America Yearbook history?
2013: Georgia Military (NJCAA) vs. East Mississippi (NJCAA)
Our College Football America Yearbook publisher Kendall Webb drove over to Biloxi, Mississippi, to check out the Mississippi Bowl, one of the junor college bowl games each season. Of course, this time around, it also served as a national championship game. East Mississippi won the game, 52-32, wrapping up a perfect season and claiming their second national championship in three seasons.
2014: Oklahoma State (FBS) at Oklahoma (FBS)
Our College Football America Yearbook director of editorial content Chuck Cox decided it was time to take in ‘Bedlam,’ the annual rivalry game between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. This time, the game was at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. The first Bedlam game wasn’t even held in Norman or in Stillwater, the home of the Cowboys. The first game was held in Guthrie, Oklahoma, in 1904, back when Oklahoma State was actually Oklahoma A&M.
2014: Iowa State (FBS) at TCU (FBS)
Our College Football America Yearbook editor Matthew Postins made his way to Fort Worth, Texas, to see the TCU Horned Frogs host the Iowa State Cyclones in a Big 12 season finale. It was a big day in Fort Worth, as the TCU Horned Frogs polished off an 11-1 regular season and shared the Big 12 crown with the Baylor Bears. But, the next day both teams missed out on a berth in the College Football Playoffs.
2014: Indiana State (FCS) at Chattanooga (FCS)
Our College Football America Yearbook publisher Kendall Webb was in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for an FCS second-round playoff game between the Indiana State Sycamores and the Chattanooga Mocs. The Mocs ended up winning the game, 35-14, to advance to the quarterfinals. That following weekend, the Mocs fell to New Hampshire, 35-30.
