Today we celebrate this day in College Football America Yearbook history by looking back on the games we’ve covered on this date, Dec. 12. The staff at the College Football America Yearbook has been attending and coverings games since 2010, even before we actually had a physical yearbook to sell. Our staff travels the country to cover anywhere from 50 to 70 college football games per season. So, we’ve accumulated many games, many photos and many memories. Each day, we’ll encapsulate those memories here and include links to our photos and game coverage that will help you take a look back, too.

Once again, the staff caught a Sam Houston playoff win at home, as the Bearkats defeated the Raiders, 48-21. Sam Houston’s season ended the following weekend when Jacksonville State pounded away, 62-10, in the semifinals.

Our College Football America Yearbook director of editorial content Chuck Cox was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the annual visit between the nation’s two pre-eminent service academies, the Army Black Knights and the Navy Midshipmen. That’s it. That’s the day. Totally worth it.
