Northwestern (IA), which reached the NAIA National Championship Game for the first time last season, is No. 1 in the College Football America 2021 Yearbook NAIA preseason Top 30.
The Red Raiders, who lost to Lindsey Wilson in the championship game, expect back quarterback Tyson Kooima, who was the National Player of the Year for the 2020 season. He is a part of the CFA Yearbook’s NAIA Starting Lineup (the book’s version of a preseason All-America team).
Morningside, which lost to Northwestern (IA) in the national semifinals last season, is No. 2.
Lindsey Wilson, the defending national champion, is No. 3. The Blue Raiders won their first national title in the 2020 season. Grand View is No. 4 and Concordia (MI) is No. 5.
Rounding out the Top 10 are No. 6 Marian, No. 7 Keiser, No. 8 Baker, No. 9 Reinhardt and No. 10 Dickinson State.
The NAIA section of the College Football America 2021 Yearbook features 16 pages of content including:
