The Florida Gators are the FBS preseason No. 8 team in the 2021 College Football America Yearbook, released last month.
The College Football America Yearbook Top 30 is part of the Top 130, which ranks every team in FBS. The Gators come in at No. 8 after winning the SEC East Division in the regular season. The Gators (8-4, 8-2 in SEC) advanced to the SEC title game where they lost to Alabama. The Gators then fell to Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl.
Head coach Dan Mullen is working to get the Gators into position to unseat the Crimson Tide as SEC champions. The Gators have not won an SEC title since 2008, which also happened to be the last year the Gators won a national title, coming under Urban Meyer. The Gators have won three national crowns.
The 2021 College Football America Yearbook features nine pages of SEC content, including an overall preview of the conference race, a spotlight piece on a stadium, the SEC Starting Lineup, all team schedules and a half-page devoted to each program with stadium photos.
The College Football America 2021 Yearbook features more than 900 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFA staff.
The print edition is available online via Amazon.com and other major retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million.
