Marian Knights Featured in the 2021 College Football America Yearbook

The Marian Knights are No. 6 in the 2021 College Football America Yearbook’s NAIA Preseason Top 30.

The Knights are one of the highest-ranked Mid-States Football Association  programs in the CFA preseason Top 30. The Knights play in the Mideast League of the MSFA.  

The Knights, a former two-time NAIA national champion, went 5-2 overall and 3-1 in MSFA Mideast League play in 2020. The Knights played in the spring, like the rest of the league. The Knights slid into the playoffs but lost to Reinhardt in the first round, 40-29.

The Knights ended last season looking up at Concordia (MI) in the MSFA Mideast League, and the game between twose two teams was one of the best in the league in 2020, as the Knights fell to the Cardinals, 16-14. That was the Knights’ only loss in the regular season.

Marian opens the season at home against Tiffin on Sept. 4. The Knights hit the road for the first time this season when they go to Madonna on Sept. 11.
