The Mules did not play a game in 2020 due to COVID-19.
In 2019, Hnatkowsky and the Mules had a huge season, reaching the national semifinals in the Division III playoffs for the first time in program history.
Hnatkowsky threw for 3,640 yards and 46 touchdowns for the Mules as he earned Centennial Conference Player of the Year and First-Team honors, along with NCAA All-South Region First Team honors. Entering this season, he already holds 15 school records.
In 2019, Muhlenberg went 13-1 overall and 9-0 in Centennial play. The Mules beat MIT, Brockport and Salisbury before falling to eventual national champion North Central, 45-14, in the semifinals.
Muhlenberg opens the 2021 season hosting The College of New Jersey on Sept. 4, followed by a road game at Dickinson on Sept. 11, which opens conference play for Muhlenberg.
