Slippery Rock Featured Prominently in 2021 College Football America Yearbook

Slippery Rock wide receiver Henry Litwin is one of two Rock players on the 2021 College Football America Yearbook’s Division II Preseason Starting Lineup, the book’s version of a preseason All-America team.

Just as importantly, the Rock is No. 3 in the 2021 College Football America Yearbook’s Division II Preseason Top 30.

The Rock did not play any games in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. But, in 2019, the Rock had a season to remember. The Rock advanced all the way to the national semifinals, where it lost to Minnesota State, 58-15. That ended Slippery Rock’s season at 13-1, but it was good enough for the best record in program history.

Litwin caught 103 passes for 1,509 yards and 21 touchdowns to set Slippery Rock single-season records for receiving yards, receptions, receiving touchdowns and total points scored as he earned All-America honors.

His teammate, defensive lineman Chad Kuhn, also made the Starting Lineup. He earned second team All-America honors in 2019.

The Rock opens the season on Sept. 2 at Wayne State (MI). Slippery Rock opens Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action against Seton Hill on Sept. 25.

The Division II section of the College Football America 2021 Yearbook features 25 pages of content including:

  • National Division II preview;
  • Division II preseason Starting Lineup;
  • Update on each Division II conference;
  • Capsules for every Division II team, including 2020 results and 2021 schedules;
  • Eleven color action, coach and stadium photos.

The College Football America 2021 Yearbook features more than 900 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFA staff.
