The FCS Stats Perform Preseason Top 25 was released earlier this month, and that poll had the same No. 1 as the 2021 College Football America Yearbook’s Preseason Top 30 — Sam Houston State.
FCS Stats Perform installed the Bearkats at No. 1, as Sam Houston State is coming off its first FCS national crown. The College Football America Yearbook did the same, citing the title and the wealth of returning starters the Bearkats possess.
