The Hornung Award named six players to its honor roll after the first full week of college football action during Labor Day weekend.
Those players named to the Honor Roll include:
Missouri’s Tyler Badie scored rushing and receiving touchdowns for the Tigers and had 203 yards rushing against Central Michigan.
Michigan’s Blake Corum gained 212 yards in total offense and had two touchdowns against Western Michigan.
Maryland’s Rakim Jarrett scored the game-winning touchdown to lead the Terrapins past West Virginia. He caught six passes for 122 yards.
NC State’s Zonovan Knight had 204 all-purpose yards and a touchdown in the Wolfpack’s 45-0 win over South Florida. Knight rushed for 163 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown run.
Texas A&M’s Ainias Smith scored twice for the Aggies in their win over Kent State. Smith caught eight passes for 100 yards.
Utah State’s Deven Thompkins scored the game-winning touchdown for the Aggies and caught eight passes for 94 yards.
