Arkansas kicker Cam Little was among three FBS kickers to be honored on the Lou Groza Week 2 honor roll.
The Groza Award is given to the nation’s best kicker each season.
Little, a freshman, had four field goals in the Razorbacks’ 40-21 upset of then-No. 15 Texas on Saturday. He also had four extra point tries, becoming the first Arkansas kicker since 2007 to make four field goals and four extra points in the same game. He leads the Razorbacks with 24 points.
Miami (FL) freshman Andy Borregales kicked a career-long 43-yard field goal with two minutes remaining to help the Hurricanes edge Appalachian State, 25-23. The younger brother of 2020 Lou Groza Award recipient Jose Borregales made three of four field goal tries, also connecting from 27 and 38 yards out.
Boise State sophomore Jonah Dalmas scored 18 points in the Broncos’ 54-13 blowout of UTEP. That led all FBS kickers in scoring this week.
Dalmas went 4-for-4 on field goals, connecting from 39, 34, 29 and 27 yards out, and was 6-for-6 on extra points. Dalmas has yet to miss a kick of any kind so far this season.
