The Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders remained in the No. 1 spot in the most recent NAIA Football FirstDown Playbook Top 25, released on Oct. 4.
The Blue Raiders, the defending national champions, have been No. 1 in every poll this season, and this week’s poll featured the same Top 5 teams for the second straight week. Along with Lindsey Wilson, the poll featured No. 2 Northwestern (IA), No. 3 Morningside, No. 4 Grand View and No. 5 Concordia (MI). Morningside did receive one first-place vote.
The rest of the Top 10 included (tie) No. 6 Marian, No. 6 Keiser, No. 8 Georgetown (KY), No. 9 Baker and No. 10 Kansas Wesleyan. The only change was Marian and Keiser flipping spots.
After the Top 10, the poll was No. 11 Ottawa (AZ), No. 12 Reinhardt, No. 13 Olivet Nazarene, No. 14 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 15 Southwestern (KS), No. 16 Bethel (KS), No. 17 Valley City State, No. 18 Saint Xaiver, No. 19 Dordt, No. 20 Faulkner, No. 21 Cumberlands (KY), No. 22 Avila, No. 23 Rocky Mountain, No. 24 Montana Western and No. 25 Langston.
College of Idaho, Eastern Oregon and Roosevelt fell out of the Top 25.
Also receiving votes were College of Idaho 20; Benedictine (Kan.) 18; Eastern Oregon 17; St. Thomas (Fla.) 9; and Roosevelt (Ill.) 3
