The Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders remained in the No. 1 spot in the most recent NAIA Football FirstDown Playbook Top 25, released on Oct. 11. In addition, each of the Top 6 teams from last week’s rankings remained in the same place.
The Blue Raiders, the defending national champions, have been No. 1 in every poll this season, and this week’s poll featured the same Top 6 teams for the second straight week. Along with Lindsey Wilson, the poll featured No. 2 Northwestern (IA), No. 3 Morningside, No. 4 Grand View, No. 5 Concordia (MI) and No. 6 Keiser.
The rest of the Top 10 included No. 7 Baker, No. 8 Kansas Wesleyan, No. 9 Ottawa (AZ) and No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan. Baker, Kansas Wesleyan and Ottawa (AZ) all moved up two spots from last week, while Indiana Wesleyan moved up four spots.
After the Top 10, the poll was No. 11 Reinhardt, No. 12 Olivet Nazarene, No. 13 Georgetown (KY), No. 14 Marian, No. 15 Valley City State, No. 16 Bethel (KS), No. 17 Faulkner, No. 18 Dordt, No. 19 Rocky Mountain, No. 20 Southwestern (KS), No. 21 Montana Western, No. 22 Langston, No. 23 Saint Xavier, No. 24 St. Thomas (FL) and No. 25 College of Idaho.
Cumberlands (KY) and Avila fell out of the Top 25.
Also receiving votes were Bethel (Tenn.) 26; Cumberlands (Ky.) 18; Avila (Mo.) 17; Benedictine (Kan.) 14; Arizona Christian 5.
