ULM was a 32-point underdog going into the game and was down 14-0 at halftime. But, the Warhawks scored 28 points in the third quarter, and Calum Sutherland kicked a 53-yard field goal with 1:44 left to give ULM the lead.

From there, an interception by ULM’s Mark Williams clinched the win.

Quarterback Chandler Rogers bounced back from a lackluster first half to throw for 225 yards and two touchdowns. While ULM’s quarterback was sacked six times, he did rush for 42 yards. Andrew Henry rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown, while Zach Johnson caught four passes for 47 yards. Zach Woodard had 10 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks.

Liberty quarterback Malik Willis threw for 135 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 157 yards and two touchdowns. But, ULM limited his effectiveness in the second half. Liberty’s top defensive player in the game was a former ULM player, linebacker Rashaad Harding. He had a career best 15 tackles with 2 1/2 sacks and 3 1/2 tackles for loss.

The College Football America 2021 Yearbook features more than 900 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFA staff.
