The Washburn Ichabods returned to the Top 25 for the first time in 2013, as they earned the No. 24 ranking in the American Football Coaches Association Division II Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, released on Nov. 8.
The Ichabods are now 8-2 for the season after beating Pittsburg State, 28-26, last weekend. Washburn will host Missouri Southern in their final regular season game of 2021.
Ferris State remained at No. 1, and the rest of the Top 10 included No. 2 Valdosta State, No. 3 West Florida, No. 4 Northwest Missouri State, No. 5 Grand Valley State, No. 6 Notre Dame (OH), No. 7 Harding, No. 8 Shepherd, No. 9 Colorado Mines and No. 10 Slippery Rock.
After the Top 10, AFCA had No. 11 West Georgia, No. 12 Bowie State, No. 13 Henderson State, No. 14 Western Colorado, No. 15 California (PA), No. 16 Kutztown, No. 17 Frostburg State, No. 18 Albany State, No. 19 New Haven, No. 20 Ouachita Baptist, No. 21 Bentley, No. 22 Nebraska-Kearney, No. 23 Minnesota-Duluth, No. 24 Washburn and No. 25 Augustana (SD).
Midwestern State and West Alabama fell out of the Top 25.
