The Ferris State Bulldogs ended the season as the No. 1 team the nation, as the American Football Coaches Association Division II Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released its final poll on Monday.
The Bulldogs are the only team in the poll to go undefeated and play at least 10 games while doing so. Ferris State received all 30 first-place votes and they have a first-round bye in the playoffs.
The rest of the Top 10 included No. 2 West Florida, No. 3 Northwest Missouri State, No. 4 Grand Valley State, No. 5 Valdosta State, No. 6 Notre Dame (OH), No. 7 Harding, No. 8 Shepherd, No. 9 Colorado Mines and No. 10 Bowie State.
After the Top 10, AFCA had No. 11 Western Colorado, No. 12 Kutztown, No. 13 West Georgia, No. 14 California (PA), No. 15 Frostburg State, No. 16 Albany State, No. 17 Ouachita Baptist, No. 18 New Haven, No. 19 Slippery Rock, No. 20 Bentley, No. 21 Nebraska-Kearney, No. 22 Henderson State, No. 23 Minnesota-Duluth, No. 24 Washburn and No. 25 Augustana (SD).
No one dropped out of the Top 25.
