Ferris State No. 1 in College Football America Preseason D-II Top 30

Ferris State Bulldogs

Ferris State, which won the Division II national championship last December, is No. 1 in the 2022 College Football America Yearbook Division II preseason Top 30.

Ferris State has been sniffing around the national championship for a few years now. But, in 2021, the Bulldogs went undefeated and claimed the national title, beating Valdosta State. The Bulldogs appear to have a team that is capable of repeating the feat in 2022.

The rest of the Top 10 includes No. 2 Shepherd, No. 3 Valdosta State, No. 4 Colorado Mines, No. 5 Angelo State, No. 6 Bowie State, No. 7 Northwest Missouri State, No. 8 Grand Valley State, No. 9 Notre Dame (OH) and No. 10 West Georgia.

The Division II section of the 2022 College Football America Yearbook features 26 pages of content including:

  • National Division II preview;
  • Division II preseason Starting Lineup;
  • Update on each Division II conference;
  • Capsules for every Division II team, including 2021 results and 2022 schedules;
  • More than a dozen color action, coach and stadium photos.

The 2022 College Football America Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFA staff.
