College Football America Releases Its Division II Starting Lineup

Shepherd quarterback and defending Harlon Hill Trophy winner Tyson Bagent leads the 2022 College Football America Yearbook Division II Preseason Starting Lineup, CFA’s version of an All-America team.

Bagent led the Rams to a 13-2 mark in 2021, including a trip to the national semifinals. He threw for 5,000 yards and 53 touchdowns, leading NCAA Division II in those categories, along with points responsible for (338). He is the ninth player at all NCAA levels — and only the second in Division II — with at least 5,000 passing yards and 50 touchdown passes.

The following programs had at least two players on the preseason Starting Lineup:

Shepherd (3): Bagent, wide receiver Ryan Beach and offensive lineman Joey Fisher.

Ferris State (3): Offensive lineman Zein Obeid, defensive lineman Caleb Murphy and punt returner Marcus Taylor.

California (PA) (2): Center Bryce Perkins and defensive back Jermal Martin Jr.

The Division II section of the 2022 College Football America Yearbook features 26 pages of content including:
