College Football America Releases FCS Preseason Starting Lineup

Kennesaw State quarterback Xavier Shepherd leads the 2022 College Football America Yearbook FCS Preseason Starting Lineup, CFA’s version of an All-America team.

Shepherd was the Big South Offensive Player of the Year and was named a First-Team All-American by two different outlets. He threw for 1,341 yards, 15 touchdowns and three interceptions, and he rushed for another 867 yards and 23 touchdowns.

The following programs had at least two players on the preseason Starting Lineup:

Chattanooga (2): Offensive lineman McClendon Curtis, defensive lineman Devonnsha Maxwell

Holy Cross (2): Offensive lineman Nick Olsofka, linebacker Jacob Dobbs.

Montana (2): Linebacker Patrick O’Connell, defensive back Justin Ford

Missouri State (2): Defensive back Montrae Braswell, punter Grant Burkett

Stephen F. Austin (2): Wide receiver Xavier Gipson, offensive lineman Clint Lapic.

The FCS section of the 2022 College Football America Yearbook features 28 pages of content including:
