ETSU Buccaneers Featured in 2022 College Football America Yearbook

The ETSU Buccaneers are No. 9 in the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s FCS Preseason Top 30.

The Bucs, who only rebooted their program less than a decade ago, went 11-2 last season with a 7-1 record in Southern Conference action. Their season included a 23-3 season-opening win over the SEC’s Vanderbilt Commodores.

ETSU received a first-round bye in the FCS playoffs and followed that with a win over Kennesaw State. But, the Bucs fell in the quarterfinals to eventual national champion North Dakota State, 27-3.

The Bucs open the season on Sept. 1 with a home game against Division II’s Mars Hill. After that, the Bucs travel to The Citadel on Sept. 10 and return home on Sept. 17 to host Furman. Both of those games are Southern Conference games. On Nov. 19, the Bucs end the regular season with a trip to the SEC’s Mississippi State.
