Central Dutch Featured in 2022 College Football America Yearbook

The Central Dutch are No. 8 in the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s Division III Preseason Top 30.

Also, Dutch wide receiver Jeff Herbers is on the College Football America Yearbook’s Division III Preseason Starting Lineup.

The Dutch are coming off a 2021 in which they went 12-1 overall. The Dutch beat Bethel (MN) and Wheaton in the first two rounds of the postseason before falling to UW-Whitewater, 51-21, in the national quarterfinals.

Herbers was second on the Dutch last season with 77 receptions. He compiled 1,151 and scored 16 touchdowns. He was one of three Dutch pass catchers to have at least 10 touchdown receptions last season.

Central opens with three straight home games. The Dutch will host St. Olaf on Sept. 3 and UW-Eau Claire on Sept. 10, followed by their American Rivers Conference opener against Loras on Sept. 17. The Dutch’s first road game is at Nebraska Wesleyan on Oct. 1.
