The Marian Knights are No. 5 in the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s NAIA Preseason Top 30.
The Knights are the highest-ranked Mid-States Football Association Mideast League program in the CFA preseason Top 30. The Cardinals are one spot ahead of Concordia-Ann Arbor, which is No. 6 in the preseason Top 30.
The Knights went 9-3 last season, with a 6-1 record in the MSFA Mideast. The Knights made the playoffs and beat Southwestern (KS) in the first round before losing to Northwestern (IA), 25-20, in the quarterfinals. The Knights have previously won two national championships.
The Knights will open the season on Sept. 3 with a MSFA Mideast opener against Madonna at home. One of the most anticipated matchups of the season will be on Oct. 22, when Marian travels to Concordia-Ann Arbor.
The NAIA section of the 2022 College Football America Yearbook features 16 pages of content including:
