Colorado Mines linebacker Nolan Reeve is on the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s Division II Preseason Starting Lineup, the book’s version of a preseason All-America team.
Just as importantly, the Orediggers are No. 4 in the 2022 Division II Preseason Top 30.
Reeve was a Cliff Harris Award nominee, the RMAC Defensive Academic Player of the Year, Colorado Mines’ Defensive Player of the Year and Second-Team All-RMAC after leading Mines with 75 total tackles.
Colorado Mines went 12-2 last season with an 8-1 record in RMAC action. The Orediggers won two playoff games before falling to Valdosta State, 34-31, in the quarterfinals.
The Orediggers open the season on Sept. 1 at Grand Valley State, another Top 10 team. Colorado Mines follows that with a home game against Angelo State on Sept. 10. The Orediggers open RMAC play on Sept. 17 at Adams State.
