Grand View Vikings Featured in 2022 College Football America Yearbook

Two Grand View players, including running back Ali Scott, are part of the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s NAIA Preseason Starting Lineup, the book’s version of a preseason All-America team.

The Vikings are also No. 3 in the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s NAIA Preseason Top 30. The Vikings are the highest-ranked Heart of American Athletic Conference program in the CFA preseason Top 30.

Along with Scott, placekicker Nathan Hamilton made the preseason team. Hamilton was selected a First-Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association in 2021. Scott rushed for 1,052 yards and 17 touchdowns last year.

The Vikings reached the national championship game, where they lost to Morningside, 38-28. The Vikings finished 13-1 overall and 5-0 in HAAC North Division action.

Grand View opens the season on Aug. 27 on the road against Central Methodist. The Vikings open HAAC North Division action on Oct. 13 at William Penn.  

The NAIA section of the 2022 College Football America Yearbook features 16 pages of content including:

  • National NAIA preview and Preseason Top 30;
  • NAIA preseason Starting Lineup;

  • Capsules for every NAIA team, including 2021 results and 2022 schedules;
