The College Football America Yearbook Top 30 is part of the Top 131, which ranks every team in FBS. The Buckeyes went 11-2 last season, with an 8-1 record in the Big Ten Conference. The season finished with a victory over Utah in the Rose Bowl.
The Dream Team is the Yearbook’s All-America Team. Put together like an 85-player FBS roster, the Buckeyes have wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and offensive lineman Paris Johnson Jr. in the Starting Lineup, which is the first team.
Other Buckeyes made the team, including quarterback C.J. Stroud, offensive lineman Dawand Jones, and long snapper Bradley Robinson.
The Dream Team also has a ‘Freshman’ class, listing 25 of the best recruits in the Class of 2022. Ohio State has linebacker C.J. Hicks (Archbishop Alter/Dayton, OH) and safety Sonny Styles (Pickerington Central, OH).
Finally, several Buckeyes made the Big Ten Preseason Starting Lineup, also featured in the Yearbook. Those players included Stroud, running back TreVeyon Henderson, Smith-Njigba, Johnson, defensive end Zach Harrison and defensive back Denzel Burke
The 2022 College Football America Yearbook features nine pages of Big Ten content, including an overall preview of the conference race, a spotlight piece on a stadium, the Big Ten Starting Lineup, all team schedules and a half-page devoted to each program with stadium photos.
The 2022 College Football America Yearbook features more than 900 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFA staff.
