UW-Whitewater Warhawks Featured in 2022 College Football America Yearbook

Linebacker Ryan Liszka of Wisconsin-Whitewater is on the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s Division III Preseason Starting Lineup, the publication’s version of a preseason All-America team.

Also, the Warhawks are No. 4 in the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s Division III Preseason Top 30.

The Warhawks are coming off a 2021 in which they went 13-1 overall and won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title. The Warhawks lost to Mary Hardin-Baylor, 24-7, in the national semifinals.

Liszka was named an All-American and All-WIAC linebacker in 2021.

UW-Whitewater will open the 2022 season against a pair of preseason Top 10 teams. First, the Warhawks travel to face Saint John’s on Sept. 3. Then, the Warhawks host Mary Hardin-Baylor in a rematch of last season’s national semifinal game on Sept. 10. The Warhawks open WIAC action on Oct. 1 at UW-La Crosse.
