Three Ferris State Bulldogs are on the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s Division II Preseason Starting Lineup, the book’s version of a preseason All-America team.

The Bulldogs are also No. 1 in the 2022 College Football America Yearbook’s Division II Preseason Top 30.

The Bulldogs won their first national championship in 2021, going 14-0 overall and 7-0 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The Bulldogs wrapped up their title run in McKinney, Texas, with a 58-17 win over Valdosta State.

Bulldogs offensive lineman Zein Obeid, defensive lineman Caleb Murphy and punt returner Marcus Taylor all made the Preseason Starting Lineup.

The Bulldogs open the season on Sept. 1 when they host Centra Washington. They don’t open GLIAC play until Oct. 8 when they travel to Saginaw Valley State. On Oct. 15, they host fellow preseason Top 10 team Grand Valley State in the annual Anchor-Bone Classic.
