UAB vs. Alabama A&M

The UAB Blazers hosted the Alabama A&M Bulldogs on Sept. 1, the first game of the 2022 season for the College Football America Yearbook Staff.

The Yearbook is available at Amazon and at Barnes and Noble. It features every team in college football, including the Blazers and the Bulldogs.

Matthew Postins of the College Football America Yearbook staff covered the game. His photo gallery is on our Facebook page and photos of the game could end up in the 2022 edition of the Yearbook.

UAB plays in Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Ala., one of the newest stadiums in college football. It opened in 2021. The Blazers are preparing to make a move to the American Athletic Conference, part of a group of teams that are moving to the league next season to replace Cincinnati, Houston and UCF, which are leaving that league for the Big 12.

Alabama A&M plays at the FCS level and is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

The College Football America 2021 Yearbookfeatures more than 900 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFA staff.

You can get a copy at Amazon or Barnes and Noble today.

Matthew Postins is the editor-in-chief of the College Football America Yearbook.
